Golden Eagle rejected as symbol for Scotland - PC nannyism

Post by Fridge »

Ok, this may not seem a big issue to many, but I cannot fathom why this would be rejected. It seems the obvious choice and should have been done years ago. Anyone who has ever seen one of these magnificent birds (I have) will know that they are the very essence of power and freedom....ludicrous.

watch this space. We will probably end up with some emasculated wish-washy symbol more in keeping with "multi-culturalism" and "inclusivenes". You can insert more buzzwords here if you wish....

I think the Golden Eagle is a gorgeous bird and any nation should be proud to have it as their symbol.

What kind of symbol do you think they will come up with to show the "diversity" and "pc-ness" so many of us decry?
