I love the black hardware myself. I do agree with ya Zep, the logo's look like a 5 year old had 2 crayons. :-D

Hey, Hairball...what's up with the short-stack shells on the V-Drums? This is the first time I've seen that. Is Roland working on acoustic-electric drums? If so, why would they do that? What kind of advantage do you gain over pads or triggers?

I also agree the black hardware is pretty cool!

I actually like these shells better than the R-30 shells, which I found way too busy for my eyes.

I don't have all the technopoop on the shells, but it's a relatively new thing,(5-6 years now I think)............... If my fadeing memory is close enough. :)
