Here's your seat for the new tour. There may be, wait, there WILL be spoilers so if you don't want to know, don't go! So pull up a lawn chair and discuss...

ground rules for cameras?????

Post by doctorbraino »

Anyone know what Rush is allowing in the way of cameras? I know last tour you were allowed a disposable camera.
Did you ever wonder why "Happily ever after" never applied to you?

Disposable is it.
They catch you taking a pic with
a digital or even a cell phone, they make you erase it.

Not sure.

actually, reports are that some places ban cameras of any sort,
and some allow the disposable.

I would guess the flash would tip you off to security.
Best to take pics during the daylight / early part of the show.

The flash will only do you good for about ten feet at the most, so I wouldn't worry about having a flash anyway.

Kares, they actually stand there and watch you delete it
(I mean with their face right up to the screen to see you do it.)
Didn't see it happen in Va Beach, but have seen it in the past.
Course, it's only if your caught.

I didn't know that either. I thought all camera's were not allowed? Doesn't it say on your ticket if they are not allowed?
When you take your digital to get processed you can get a disk so you can down load it to your computer, so what's the differnce really other than time.
When evil is allowed to compete with good, evil has an emotional populist appeal that wins out unless good men & women stand as a vanguard against abuse.

Hah! Never thought of that! I'm such a klutz that I'd never get it in time, though. Hell, in the old days (before cameras on the cell phones) I'd call friends hold up the cell phone during a favorite song or the drum solo for them. Could still be doing that you know. How do THEY know? :P

At the Asia concert last week I looked back at the audience and there was a sea of cell phones up at one point. It looked like a bunch of insects with one antenna each!! The guys were delighted.

What? They have the CELL PHONE police out there now? Sorry for sounding irritated but it seems like a bit much to me. I hate being treated like a child and I think Security has better things to do than chase people getting crappy cell shots. That's like trying to nail Jello to a tree! There are serious drunks and stalking whackos at concerts that need more attention! It's not like they're cutting into Andrew MacNaughtan's business or anything.

*rant over* ... *I think*

I guy tried to take a cell pic practically
on top of a security guard, and was asked not to.
I'm sure they aren't going to run into the middle of a row,
if you do it discretely. It's the ones that run down the aisle
and take one in front of everybody that get busted.
