Hey gang,

Just wanted to share a good laugh with you. Just click the link below and you can hear me (yep me) doing a karaoke version of New World Man. The music does not compare to Rush of course, but it did in a pinch. Someone turned me on to this website and I have had a ball recording some of my favorite songs. I am not the best singer for sure, but I enjoy it and they still let me sing to them at church (maybe they are being nice, you decide).

If you feel froggy, I will also leave a link to access all of my recordings for your amusement (no comments on the huge amount of soft rock please

).

Thanks to both of you. JT is doing well. He had a hernia repair surgery a while back and came through it just fine. He is getting taller, but still not gaining weight. He just turned four in July, and is a real hand full lately.

Wow, I have seen your pix, and now heard your singing voice. To be honest, they don't match.

It is funny when we have never heard each other we get a mental picture of how WE think everyone might sound. The real fun is finally getting to hear them for the first time. Priceless. NWM, I enjoyed NWM. verry muchly!!!

Thanks guys. I know the voice doesn't match my big ole body, but I was a soprano in boys choir and in Junior High.

Glad you guys weren't too repulsed.

I thought it would be neat for you guys to hear how I sounded even if you had to endure mediocre Rush karaoke.

You're braver than I to get up and sing in
front of the congregation. I'm absolutely
sure they were pleasantly entertained.
Sounds like you didn't have to read
the lyrics from the screen but they
came from within, as you surely
know them by heart.

I would say "repulsed" is far from truth. And I agree with Leon that it is such fun to get to hear what the people we post with sound like.

I hope you got what I was trying to say. It was in no way a slam or anything like that. I was mostly referring to how cool it is when we can finally put a voice to the face.

To date I have talked to in person or by phone to the following By-Torians.
