Nostradamus said the end was coming the summer of 1999. Did it come? No.

Am I going to lose sleep over the Mayans and their writings? No.

"Beware the wolf in sheep's clothing"-Jesus said this when an apostle asked when the end was coming, and Jesus said there will be many people who claim to know when, but do not really know- which can be interpreted in the manner above in Elfie's quote of the bible.
