hahaha Tighten up Hairy....We're on a mission!

Whoa, I just read a interview with Ace on Blabbermouth.net and he's
not happy about Gene touring with 50% of KISS this year and having a
poser play in Ace makeup...

He makes a good point though. He compares KISS to "a prizefighter
coming out of retirement that should have rolled up the towel."

Nice.

It's really crazy how Gene.............ahem........."Whores Kiss" like he does, but can you blame him?

He was born and lived in poverty and war in Israel. He came to america as a pre teen and learned his english from watching "American Television"......and, and, and...... :-D

He is the "Rags to Riches" story of a lifetime. So what if he had the phrase "OJ" for orange juice Copywritten so he get's royalties for every time someone OJ.

I call it what it is.....................BUSINESS!

Oh no doubt Hairybro. I'm all about ANYBODY coming here and making a
honest dollar.

Not knocking it one bit. It's part of the American dream.

I just feel like it should be 100% KISS, 100% of the time if they're all still
drawing a breath. Anything less is just, like you said....business.

It's said that they only did four or five U.S. dates on this tour too...

That was definitely a BUSINESS decision, 'cuz I don't think we're gonna
buy it here.

Europe's tour dates drew SERIOUS COIN from what I read though.

Good for them! I'm down with that. :headbang:

I wish they were still the original 4 of them. It was best like that.

Oh well. I saw them with Eric Carr (rip) and in the 1st reunion go around, I am happy with that. Still, if it wasn't for KISS, I would prolly be a jazz trumpet player.

even with all 4 of them. The music would still suck. They are the ultimate poser band. *runs and hides*

TESTIFY Bro. I never saw shows with replacemants.

If I'm not mistaken, a GUITAR TECH is doing Ace's parts on this tour!

If they can pull that off, more power to 'em, yaknow?

What Myg doesn't realize is that KISS, as much a poser band as they are, helped make it popular for a lot of the bands he likes.

Right! Thanks for clearing that up Bro. No disrespect directed to Tommy
at all.... Except for stealing Ace's makeup!

HE DIDN'T EARN IT! :x

Who did Singer play with before this gig? That name's familiar...

Singer used to be a hired stick man. Lita Ford and Alice Cooper, Badlansd too I think.

I met him right after KISS decided to do reunion tour 1. He was in town with Alice. What a great show. He and a few others went to the nudie bar my brother used to work with so he got tickets, and sneekily arranged the meeting with Eric. I was having a cocktail and I hear my brother walk up behind me saying......"Eric, this is my brother Leon, he is a drummer here in town in a cover band....."

I almost crapped myself it was so cool. :D

That's a tre' cool encounter Bro!

That's how I felt at 17 meeting Alex and Char in Barbados.

(We were the only white people on the street. That made it a little easier
for my autograph ambush.) HAHAHA

There was no escape. They were easy marks. LOL

Matter of fact, he and Char both had the curly-perm-action goin' on at the
time . . .

Actually, they were really nice to me, seeing I was a young kid in a sailor
suit a long way from home. He gladly signed all my Barbados swag and
put "to" - whomever I asked him to - on it.

That was a "never forget" moment. No chance in Hell Alex remembers it,
but it doesn't matter.

He said Neil and Ged were in Jamaica at that same moment, so I thought
that was just cool as shit.

I can imagine the combustibles they must have went through! :headbang:
