Is it firm on the pre-sale for March 9? I called the ticket office for the Indy (Noblesville) show and they said tickets go on sale Saturday. I mentioned the pre sale and they said no. I hope you are right because with that presale I might have a good shot at getting close to the stage. For some reason Rush is not a big draw around here and nobody I know is willing to shell out the $75 to sit close so maybe I have a real good chance at sitting close after all. Man, I am now glad I did not pay that ticket broker $325 a couple of weeks ago, even though at $75 I am probably going by myself still.
Happy 2015!

A friend of mine on another board was told by their venue (Detroit) that there was in no way any kind of presale at the same time that people were using the Rush.com presale and getting tickets.

Bottom line, I don't think the venues have a clue about any kind of presales, Ticketmaster OR anything 'fan based.'

My biggest worry as to why all of the tickets aren't on pre-sale are because is that the dates aren't confirmed yet or something to that nature. You should have a good chance of getting the seat you want by using their pre-sale, they give the date and time of pre-sale a few days notice before they go through with it.

I am just re-posting these right from the e-mail I get from Rush.com

I assume they are correct, coming from the band, management, etc.

It was kinda weird when I went to Rushs presale and couldn't get anything near good 15 seconds after it began. Then, a few days later for the same show in Cleveland, I went to Ticketmasters presale and got 5th row (Geddy side). I'm not sure what this means, but when tics go on sale for my hometown, I'll be at the ticketmaster site.
