Awwwwww! You guys are the greatest!  :D

I had a nice birthday...the hubby and I went out for a nice dinner, and then we spent the evening star gazing....literally! We just bought a telescope and last night was the first clear night we've had in Michigan. We checked out Jupiter and Saturn and a couple of open clusters and a couple of nebulae. Very cool!

I was hoping Dave would surprise me with a couple of front row Rush tickets, but alas...no joy. Oh well. I'm looking at a couple of good tickets for the Cleveland show on Ebay. Very expensive, but I may just have to buy them....I know I'll kick myself if I don't. What the hell, it's only money!

Thanks everyone!!!

I was lined up for glory, but the tickets sold out in advance

Happy birthday! I got a ticket for the 4th row off of Ebay for $175 or so for the VT tour, it's worth it! Cut the water and heat off, who needs it when you can see Rush!?

Happy birthday! 'Course you're "immortal", so birthdays would just seem to run together, eh? :D

If you go to Ticketmaster, you may ged lucky for the Cleveland show. I got 5th row 4 days after the Rush pre-sale. I just went back to see what was there and locked into some 20th row seats. I guess they release some seats as it goes along...Waiting patiently for the Columbus sale!

Well, I done gone and did it!!! I bought 2 Cleveland tickets from Ebay....rather expensively (my hubby's not too pleased...) but I don't care. I got second row in section 12 near the aisle. I should end up pretty close to Geddy....I just hope I can stay conscious long enough to take in all of Geddy's gloriousness!!! (The dude is so freaking hot!)
I also have tickets to the Detroit show, but they're not that good. I'm keeping my eye open if anything great goes up for bidding.
Zivo, I'm considering going to the Columbus show...if I do we should meet and say HI.
Anyway, I've seen this band on every tour since GUP so this is something I NEEDED TO DO. Period.

I'm hoping very much that the seller is legit and that I didn't just lose my money!!

Immortal! I'll be there a few rows from you (Ged side) at the Cleveland show, so we should certainly say hi. I won't be hard to spot; 6'1", long hair, big smile and Fly By Night t-shirt. Kinda like the guy in my avatar :)
And I can relate to the "NEED" to get tix to more than one Rush show. I'm in since A Farewell, and have been to every tour since. Nothing short of Earth flying off its axis could stop me
