tombstone
Hello
my grandmother recently passed away this month and we had to choos esomething to put on her tombstone. anyone who has done this knows it is no easy task to think of the perfect thing that sums up a persons life.
my personal suggestion for my grandma was
"you ruled in life, you'll rock in Heaven.
Stay cool Grandma"
no one liked it...i don't know why but it got me thinking, what would i want on my tombstone?
so i ask you all (if you aren't too freaked out by it) what would you want on your tombstone? or what would you put on someone else who posts here tombstone, feel free to be creative
enjoy

"John Rutsey, who was a viking then, Geddy, who wasn't a viking and myself formed the band as it isn't today to patrol war-torn areas of the Middle-East and to incurr as many debts as possible. This we did with a passion."

"What the hell are you doing here? I'm dead.
I'm not going to answer any questions from the great beyond. I'm dead
I'm not going to watch over you. I'm dead.
Don't know why you paid all this money to bury me. I'm dead
Now go away, live your life, and let my bones rot. I'm dead"

Good one, By-Tor! I agree 100%....
I actually don't want a tombstone. My final resting place is of no consequence to me, and it shouldn't be for those I leave behind, either.
But, I guess if I had to choose something, mine would say
"OW! You're stepping on my head!"

I was lined up for glory, but the tickets sold out in advance
I've told my wife to cut off my hand and feet, and to pull out my teeth, then just throw me in the lake....can't identify the body, let the state bury me. My family has a crypt in New Orleans, and no matter what I say, that's where they'll put me. Lovely, if I'm wrong, and there is an afterlife, just how I want to spend it, surrounded by the rotting corspes of my releatives.Immortal for a Ltd Time wrote:I actually don't want a tombstone. About 2 weeks ago Jade, my daughter who is 10, came home from school to tell me that one of her lessons was to write her own epitaph and what the tombstone has on it....they didn't to put a date down if they didn't want to.
Now that's morbid
