Summer tour

Post by Tom Sawyer »

Man I live here in Baltimore and it's looking as if the closest they're gonna play is that dump Nissan Pavillion! I friggin' HATE that place from the long miserable ride there to the cops in the parking lot. This doesn't include the hour or more wait to get off the parking lot when the show is over because they only have one gate open. WUGH!!!!!!!!

I remember the Nazi cops in Baltimore. In the '70s they were fairly relaxed, then by the '80s they were monsters. What happened to the Capital Center and the Baltimore Convention Center, not to mention Merriwether Post Pavillion? Best of luck with your east coast Rush experience.

Hey Zivo,

Merriweather is still there although they wanted to shut it down this summer. I think they're going to try one more year.

As far as Baltimore Civic Center goes, it's now Baltimore arena, but we get pretty crappy shows around here lately. Rush did play there once and it's only about 8 minutes from my house so that rocked! The Cap Center is long gone man.
