Don't Buy Gas on May 19th

Post by Aerosmitten »

Subject: Don't Buy Gas on May 19th

It has been calculated that if everyone in the United States did not
purchase a drop of gasoline for one day and all at the same time, the oil
companies would choke on their stockpiles.

At the same time it would hit the entire industry with a net loss of over
$4.6 billion, which affects the bottom lines of the oil companies.

Therefore, May 19th has been formally declared "STICK IT UP THEIR BEHIND DAY" and the people of this nation should not buy a single drop of
gasoline that day.

The only way this can be done is if you forward this e-mail and pass the
message along verbally to as many people as you can and as quickly as you can.

Waiting on this administration to step in and control the prices is not
going to happen.??What happened to the reduction and control in prices
that the Arab nations promised two weeks ago?

Remember one thing, not only is the price of gasoline going up but at the
same time airlines are forced to raise their prices, trucking companies
are forced to raise their prices which effects prices on everything that is
shipped, including food, clothing, building materials, medical supplies,
etc.??Who pays in the end???We do.

We can make a difference if they don't get the message after one day, we
will do it again and again.

So do your part and spread the word.??Forward this e-mail to everyone you
know and pass the message along to those who don't have e-mail as well.
Mark your calendar and make May 19th a day that the citizens of the
UnitedStates say "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH"

Peeps at the DIO board gonna do it, might be "funny" if enough peeps did it. So, just don't buy gass tomorrow. Goodness knows there's pleanty

I'm presuming that by 'gas' you mean gasoline? We call it petrol after 'petrolium' for some reason...but count me in Aero'.
Forwarded the email to other fellow English dudes.

Yes, petrol is what you guys call it. Ah well, here's to not being able to sleep, I tried for a couple hours and now I'll just play myself to sleep with some classical music :x
I remember watching in amazement as Geddy sang, played bass, and played the keyboards with his feet. I thought, "Who is this guy???"

Oh dont be such a killjoy L'ite. Go find your sense of humour...it's beneath your classical collection :D .

Incidently, I have a fondness for classical music. It's not hard to enjoy the perennial 'classic' classics. I do prefer modern soundtrack albums such as TLOR's, Braveheart, HPotter, any John Williams really. Recent albums that I'm listening to being TPOTChrist and Van Helsing soundtracks.
