kewl Schu! "Pure Rock Fury" is better though....some people get offended by "Beard", but the Rush link (in the "Fury" album lyrics) is uncanny...

I like them about as much as most of the other metalcore bands, which means they have very good musicianship, but not much originality. This is coupled with annoying vocals, and absolutely atrocious lyrics. The best thing I can say about this style of music, is that it got nu metal off the radio and MTV.

Mainstream American metal is in a sad sad state.
Strength and beauty destined to decay
so cut the rose in full bloom.
Till the fearless come and the act is done
A love like blood
a love like blood

Siggs, you would like hanging at my house. It is ALWAYS metal month here. And when I say metal, I mean Sabbath, Priest, Dio, Ozzy, Scorpions, Maiden, and the likes. \m/

Long live Rock and Roll!

Up the Irons indeed. I used to be a huuuge 'Maiden fan, owned every album, bought the 7" 12" and picture disc singles, saw them in '84 and '86. I once had a choice to either buy food or Live After Death on the release date (gatefold vinyl :-) )...I bought the album and scrounged off my mates for a week. Rock n bloody Roll!
As much as I dig the 'classic' bands I have to remain contemporary and tend to neglect the 'oldies'.
