Is this how you view our Democrats and Republicans? Just wondering because I don't think that is the majority view here.
It's all relative. But the reason there's so much personality-based vitriol in American politics is that there's so little to choose between the two big parties in their policy. Sadly, it's heading that way here too.

the lesser of two evils theory :-)

I'm not into politics the way DA is...well I think he's into politics....
I have and always will vote the SNP...Scottish National Party....this is the only party that has a chance of giving Scotland independence.....once Scotland is independent then I will look at the other party's on offer and decide then

So, if Scotland were to regain independence, what changes do you think you'd see in your day to day life?

If that sounds in any way sarcastic, I didn't mean it to. I'm just curious.

Ok I'm not schu but each country could go their own way even tho alot of damage has been done culturally and politically...I mean Scotland isn't like it was in ancient Celt times...but at least take a separate rout from England from here.

we could have kept our own oil.....our industry's could 'still' be in alive....I say 'still' as maybe they wouldnt...we wouldnt get all the nuclear waste shit dumped on our doorstep and we wouldnt be the ones who the 'government' want to find out if taxes like the poll tax work
that's just off the head as I'm not really thinking right the now :-D

I know I know...when do I ever think ;)
