London Bombing Anniversary

Post by rushlight »

This was the day I freaked out thinking something happened to D.A. or any of our british bytorean friends. I am grateful they are safe but saddened that many people were killed in the blasts. :(
I love my Welshman.

I knew it was coming up, but I had forgotten the exact day. We were pretty worried about people in London also.

It is a shame that all walks of life can't just be good people. Too bad that some think it's ok to go out and do the shit they do. All in the name of whatever.

Whatever.

I remembered it too. I also remembered a thread here (in General I think) pointing to a website that had all these pictures people made with the same message.

They said something like, "you don't scare me" or, actually it was much more powerful. I'll have to find it.

Ahhh. Here's the site:

I see it has grown tremendously in a year. But it is still wonderful to see the banners that were send in when the site first was developed.

I hadn't seen that site before. That's kind of fun! Thanks for the link.

I remember that day very well. I was flying into London that afternoon, and still managed to make it.
