Ingredients:
1/2 cup pot-butter******** (SEE BELOW)*********
3 squares unsweetened chocolate
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 large or 3 small eggs
3/4 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
3/4 cup walnuts

Directions:
1) Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2) Melt the butter in a saucepan and add the chocolate. Mix until melted and set aside.
3) In a large mixing bowl add the sugar and eggs. Beat until thoroughly mixed (electric mixer ok).
4) Add the chocolate mixture in with the eggs and mix well.
5) Gradually add the flour, baking powder, and salt while mixing.
6) Add the vanilla extract and mix.
7) Add walnuts.
8) Spread evenly into a well-greased 12 x 7 x 1-inch baking pan.
9) Bake at 350-degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.
10) Cool and cut into 2-inch squares.
11) "The more you eat the better you feel. Let's have brownies at every meal."

Makes 20 (2-inch) squares

Directions for making pot butter:
1) Using a double boiler or two pots, melt the butter on low heat. When using two pots, fill the larger (bottom) pot with water and the top pot with butter.

2) Once the butter has melted, add the weed. The amount of weed will determine the potency. For example, a "light" batch may use 3/4 of an ounce of weed to 5 sticks of butter.

3) Simmer for 20-30 minutes stirring every 5 minutes.

4) Let sit for 5 minutes then strain the pot butter (using cheesecloth) into a small bowl. (Figure 9.2)

5) Once cool enough to handle, pick up the cheesecloth and squeeze out the juice.

6) Cover and refrigerate until semi-solid.

Then I say yes.

What you are asking me is in the recipe... I guess you could simmer the bud and butter w/o it being in the bigger pot with the water in it. Dang........ am I that confused. :-)

Am I still missing your point, I hope not...My head hurts. :-D
