You can see me on R30

Post by Amarok »

Hey ladies and gentlemen!

I got the R30-DVD and I was really surprised as I saw myself in the show. After "Tom Sawyer" at 1:02:15 to 1:02:20 you see a guy (only his back) in the middle of the screen with his arms in the air clapping his hands. That's me! Believe me, I'm absolutely sure. The style of how he's clapping, the watch, on the right arm you can see a small part of a tattoo (most of it hidden under the shirt), the necklace. Ja, that's me, no doubt.

Excellent. There are some other people who were at that show who have some footage as well.

You're famous! :-D

Amarok's Time Capsule

Post by PerfektWorkingMandrakeoft »

Congrats Amarok! I will have to look for you.

I too have made Rush history.

My claim to fame is that you can hear me in the crowd cheering during "Turn The Page" on that Live album.

Truly, every day we're standing in a time capsule!

I also made history with Rush. I jumped up on stage at The Roll the Bones tour. I was standing right in front of Neil's drum riser and could hear Neil saying to me "Get out of here kid, get out of here" I was also dissed by Geddy too. The boys really didn't like the idea of a stranger being on stage with them. True story.

did security take you downstairs and plunger rape you? I have heard stories of such things happening.

To my surprise they didn't. In fact, I just walked off the stage. Nobody came out and grabbed me. Not one security guard. I don't know what they were doing but I initiated the walking off the stage part. When I got up on stage Alex went to high five me but my back was turned to him and I was looking at Geddy. (I only know about the high five part because my buddy told me) I stuck out my hand to shake his and Geddy gave me the get the hell out of here "thumb job" He was pissed. Haha! Anyway that's when I turned and looked at Neil and he also told me to "beat it kid" Haha! I was close enough to him to hear those exact words. Like I said before, I was right in front of his drum riser. Oh yeah I almost forgot that when I jumped up on stage the first thing I did was put my hands up and looked at the crowd and they cheered and roared. It was actually pretty amazing. There is another part to this story that I'll tell later but I've gotta split.
