YES!

I think they will. Although, it does look like they may be trying to set themselves up with royalties to keep them bringing in monies when they do retire.

I don't know the original source of this, nor can I vouch for its validity, but, while at the EuCon this year, I was told that Rush's future touring plans are:

Next tour (2006?)- North America, Far East and Australia.

Tour after that (c2008/9?) - North America and Europe.

After that?

I want to believe that too, because that would mean at least two more tours planned!

Lorne said they like touring in the summer.
I feel the next album will be out in April/May, and another tour starting in June.
It's my hope anyway.

Record First THEN Tour...

Post by dw_drummer93 »

After noticing the pattern they have stuck to for the past 30 years I'd say they would have to record another studio album first before even thinkin about tourin again. However, I'm very sure thats what we can expext from Rush in the next couple of years at the most.

I also heard, just after the release of Feedback, that Rush's contract with Atlantic was good for another four albums.

Now, I don't know if that is for studio or whether live/compilations are included. Hopefully, it will be for studio albums otherwise we'll probably see studio next year, compilation (Atlantic haven't released one yet)another studio, another live which could, possibly their farewell tour.

They HAVE to tour again..they JUST STARTED acoustic stuff, so there's unopened doors there...one song like "resist" just isn't gonna cut it with die-hard fans....
Don't start none...won't be none.
