Question for Soup:
In that AFC title game at Pitt, have you ever seen a replay of the hail mary in the endzone on the last play of the game?
I swear the Colt receiver caught it, and they said no, but NBC never showed a replay. I thought it was cus the replay showed he did catch it.
I'd love to see a definitive drop on that play.
Just like the Denver OT win in Cleveland after "the Drive", the OT FG was no good, and the refs gave it to them. Didn't see a replay of that for years, and the first one were ground cams of the kicker walking away thinking no good, then celebrating. They didn't show the ball going over the post for years!

that was Aaron Bailey and HELL YES that was a catch. I think we might of beat Dallas in the SB that year too. We beat them in week 4 the following year with pretty much the same team they fielded for the SB. What a great year that was. BTW I love you for saying that was a catch . That has been a sore spot with me for 10 years now. I am trying to let it go.. maybe I will be able to this year.

It was Bailey!
I hated Pittsburgh (though I loved them growing up in the 70's and all the SB's - cus the Pats stunk of course.) then, and was rooting for the Colts all the way. They had lost to SD on the last play the year before, so I think the refs felt bad.
If I could see an angle showing the ball hit the ground, I'd let it go.
But until then, no way.

59 and sunny at Foxboro... Sattelite images show Belichik walking around with a garden hose and Willie McGinist practicing laying on the field with an injury. I don't see any armed guards watching over the Colt's gatorade buckets.... **soup makes phone call to Colt headquarters to get someone on that**.... MK, did you call Brady's parents with your condolences yet? I just want to make sure we have everything covered.

The McGinnest crack is hilarious.
Back to business.
The Revolution played soccer yesterday, tearing up the field with their
Belichick inspected extra long cleats. No smooth carpet to gallop on tonight! However, I did deliver 20 bags of green sawdust, to make the Colts think it is smooth sailing, and choose inappropriate footwear.
A couple of turned ankles, and we'll be sailing away with another
hard earned victory.

Kidding.
It played out the way I figured it would.
We couldn't stop your offense, but we proved your defense is no where near the level everyone thinks it is.
4 possessions we easily moved the ball on you and scored TD's on 3, and it would have been 4 and tied at the half if not for the fumble.
Not that we would have won, even if tied at the half, cus our defense couldn't stop USC.
I had it at 38-17, so I wasn't far off.
