I was wondering how far you were from Schu. Good to know you all are ok.

Here's a odd thing. A military rocket grenade was found in a dudes back yard just 5 blocks from my house last night. He was digging about 6" down and heard a metallic click, called the cops after he figured out what it was and the bomb squad took it away to detonate it in a safe place. It was about the size of a 1 liter water bottle.

My sister was watching the news last night around 10 pm and freaked and called us to see if we could see or hear anything.................we didn't. :-)

just noticed this thread

I was quite worried when I first heard about the chemical leak (the next day I was really angry).....the people of G/mouth mostly heard about it on the news on the telly at about 10:30 at night....we were told that an unknown chemical was leaking from a tankard and that we were to shut all windows and stay inside......what we wern't told until the next day was the 'leaking' started happening about 3:30 in the afternoon....my windows were open until I heard the news and my kids were out playing till nearly 8pm.....okai this time it wasnt serious but what if it was...they didnt know what the chemical was....G/mouth has sirens so if anything happens we know to stay inside....there was no sirens....there was no one coming round with a loud speaker from a car telling us to go inside...nothing at all.....if I hadnt watched the news that night then I would have known nothing about it till the morning....so maybe I am worrying about the 'what ifs' but when you stay in an industrial town where you know that you could be gone in the blink of an eye if anything was to go wrong they really have to get the finger out when it comes to informing the public.

I can understand why you want to be informed sooner.
