Which do you think is the best of the Rush live albums.
I go for Different Stages _ best production, best choice of material and the Hammersmith Gig. _________________ 'Do not despise the snake for having no horns, for who is to say it will not become a dragon?' |

I've went for A Show Of Hands. The sound quality is superb and documents the band at a high point in their career (the late 80's). _________________

ESL because it was the first Rush CD I had! _________________ I remember watching in amazement as Geddy sang, played bass, and played the keyboards with his feet. I thought, "Who is this guy???"

I'll go with Different Stages as well. I do like Rio and Show of Hands too, but the setlist on DS matches my favorites better. It was a great tour. Lots of good memories from that show. _________________ Life in two dimensions is a mass-production scheme... |

Rush In Rio. That had some monstrous sounds, a sweet setlist (Though it could've used some Red Barchetta or some Fly By Night), and an infectous young Brazilian crowd. RIR owns. _________________ Wheels within whells, a spiral array

DS edges out RiR for me.
I love that RiR is one whole concert, but DS sounds a bit better, plus it has all of 2112. _________________ Regards,

It makes my brain hurt. Rio, ESL, DS, ASOH. Someone else pick for me. _________________ This space for rent |

I have that one, I also have a wicked boot of the first R30 Wembley show (over a gig in size!). I have a cool torrent site that has an amazing amount of Rush boots available...thanks to Slaine'.
Hey Spake man, you should start a 'newbie' introduction thread in the 'general' section. _________________

Check out www.easytree.org - There's a ton up there.
I got an audience recording of the R30 show in Stockholm. The sound quality is amazing - even better than the Nashville boot! _________________ Regards,
