Another possibility is that our government was spying on Dodi Fayed through Di. That brings up the theory that maybe Britain couldn't spy on her and her muslim husband and had their ol' buddy Uncle Sam do it for them. Now the Kingdom can be "outraged" instead of guilty.
Just a thought.
