Z, I would have love to talk smack with ya, but I could not do it as I have been in your position too many times... Monday morning after a playoff loss is the worst feeling in the world...if you are a true fan.

I understand...in Boston we've been there too many times and now that we've won a few it takes the sting out a lot. (well except for Grady Little's choke in 2003...that still hurts)

hopefully if we get a championship this year, maybe it won't be so stressful next year to watch playoff games... Z and MK, does it make it less stressful?

Yes...remember before SB XXXVI it had been since the Celts won in 1986 that we had a title- the next day you couldnt wipe the smile off.

There were 8 of us in the bar- would have sworn it was 800 with the noise we made after the FG.

I remember rooting for the Pats win they knocked off St Louis... That was before the Colts/Pats rivalry really began..

Soup, ya didn't have to take down the pic.

It is kinda funny, he could get his 4th ring before the Pats do.

The sting is still there for me.
Not a haunting one, but it is tough to know we were
so close to going back and tying Pitt with 4 out of 6.

Even the Denver game, with 5 turnovers, we still coulda won.

At the end of the day, yes, I can say we've won it all 3 times,
and that does make it better. But I still can't dismiss the tough
losses.

I'm still mad the Lakers beat the Celtics
for the title in '85 at the Garden!
