A concert! Or maybe even better, a DVD of a concert. Bela Fleck and the Flecktones Live at the Quick. Pretty cheap on Amazon.

Plays the banjo. But he doesn't play what you'd expect to hear on a banjo... jazz, rock, Bach, etc. He has been nominated for Grammys in more different categories than anyone else in history.

He also surrounds himself with top notch musicians who tend to do things with their intruments that are also way out in left field.

Man, now I am  , I thought Bella was a female singer.

Banjo huh? I had an opp to play in a band with 2 seven string guitars and a banjo played with heavy distortion thru an amp. I chose no because ALL the songs were drug related.

The amp'ed distorted banjo thingie was kind of cool sounding though.

I think the highest time sig Victor did that night was 13. My husband is the big fan, he just wanted me to come along. I am glad i did, was crowded, & i had to stand on a bench in order to see. But well worth it all.
