Just saying Hi

Post by Rocinante »

Hello everyone,

Just joined and thought it courteous to introduce myself.
I first got into Rush back in 1980, went to see them at one of the Apollo gigs that year, and never looked back. Currently looking forward to the Snakes and Arrows album flying through my letterbox any day. From the snips I've heard on the official site it sounds AAA.

Anyway, nice to be here. Cheers R

Hello Rocinante,

Welcome and have fun!
When evil is allowed to compete with good, evil has an emotional populist appeal that wins out unless good men & women stand as a vanguard against abuse.

Slainte, Rocinante!

Good to see a fellow Scot on the board. We'll soon overrun it if this trend continues :D

Where do you stay? I live up on the Moray Coast between Banff and The Broch (Fraserburgh)
Ach, if Dougie was here he'd tell you himself....

Hi Fridge,

I'm a wee Glasgow boy. That's a nice bit of the country you stay in. A few years since I've been up there but spent a Hogmanay in Lossiemouth. Bit of a session you can imagine

I'm going to pay a visit to Adri's Pizza Joint.

Cheers, R

Welcome, Rocinante! :hello2:
I don't have faith in faith, I don't believe in belief, You can call me faithless, I still cling to hope, And I believe in love, And that's faith enough for me... Neil Peart

First of all, allow me to offer my condolences for being a "Weedgie" :D (j/k)
I'm originally from "Embra" myself, but haven't lived there since 1990 and have NO intention of going back.

I remember Lossiemouth well, The band I was in at the time did a gig on Hogmanay at the Skerry Brae hotel on Hogmanay a good few years ago.

We were so hammered we could barely play. Excellent night though :)
