You mean you don't like My Chemical Romance? ****gag****
I tried, I tried really hard to like them...not my cup of tea.

The last band I really got excited about was Green Day back in 1994, and they were "sellouts" on "Dookie" anyways...(not my words- they can play their style of music)

I was blown away by Green Day too....

I'm not giving up on Primus and RHCP though...

you either love 'em or you don't.

NOBODY plays bass like Les Claypool and Flea.

Friggin phenomenal.

Hate to admit it HERE, but Claypool would kick Ged's ass on bass.

*waits for Rushian fallout*

oh look at the time...gotta go.

i failed to be impressed by claypool, sure he can tap a bass, just takes a little practice and frankly i think it sounds retarded. Sure on a guitar it can be cool but i prefer shredding to tapping. Asside from tapping his licks have always left me lacking never quite pushing any limits or straining. Would say his work is pretty mediocre for a bassist trying so hard, kind of lame and overworked, like tool.

I understand your opinion, but.....

How many bass players do you know that use a tremolo and
vocal through a bass kick mic?

He made his niche if you ask me.

Go ahead...you can say "PRI-MUS SUCKS....PRI-MUS SUCKS...."

THOUSANDS DO AT THEIR SHOWS. It's pretty much mandatory. :-D

.....and BTW.....TOOL absolutely-friggin-kicks-ass. More metal please! :headbang:

Rush should try some metal. Hell, they've done everything else.

If Alex can do "Little Drummer Boy," he can do "Little Metalhead." :headbang:
