An excellent gathering!
Great time meeting Panacea, Kares
and her guest, and RushFan's guest,
and PV's daughter Mini.
An afternoon well spent for sure.
The show rocked though the sound dropped a couple of times.
Alex came to within 10 feet of me on this tiny catwalk in front of the bass cabinets. Some goober walked to the end of the stage with his palm up for
a high five, and Al just looked at him and said "I'm working" and shook his head.
Kares got a nice momento, but
I'll let her tell the story.
Off to night night's now.

The concert was MOST excellent!! But first things first.
It was SO great seeing PV and Pan again. RushfanFla, their friend Mitch. All people I had seen at PNC for R30 and it was a HAPPY reunion.
Mini was with us this time, which was a treat and boy has she grown!!!
I was happy and excited to finally meet MK and Mrs. MK. And what great people they are. I'm so grateful you took that ticket. It made everything that much better.
Here are a few photos. First of MK and me and "our" ticket. We look a little insane because it was 95 degrees and we were in the sun. The second is of me and my friend who came with me and became MK's "seat mate" after I got a single seat down close 6 rows in front of Geddy. Whoo hoo!
I have more pics of the group (PV, Pan and RFF, Mini, and a "group" shot of everyone including Mrs. MK) but I want their OK before I post them.
The concert ROCKED and the crowd was wonderful. I so enjoyed it and think everyone else did too.
One fun thing was I ended up sitting next to this guy named "Fritz" who was a friend of Alex's (didn't believe him at first). He was a really nice guy (although not really a fan but he and his group spent most of the concert waving to Alex and Alex nodding and smiling back). But we ended up having a BALL and he teased me relentlessly about Geddy.
In the end he disappeared during Neil's solo and came back and gave me this!
THANK you all for making the concert so special!!!

Are you kidding me, MK?Middle Kingdom wrote:Would have been a blast!
Great pics and pick Kares.
Have you framed it yet?
I had a thought. It shows how the band can bring all people together and it takes and INCREDIBLE love of Rush for a New Yorker and someone from Woosta to take a chummy photo like that especially when ONE of them is wearing a BOSOX cap!!! j/k MK. I prolly hate the Yankees as much as you do.
Yeah, Hairy. Fritz was the MAN! Funny as hell too so you could see why he and Alex were friends. He disappeared during the encore so I never got to thank him again for the thoughtful gift. I gave him a big hug when he handed it to me, though.
Soupie it would have been so cool if you were there too!
Here's Pan:
Just waiting on PV to see if I can post the rest.

Wow! What a great night! The band was spot on! Everything was fantastic! One of the best shows I've ever seen!
It was wonderful meeting up with MK, Mrs MK, Kares, Billie, and of course Pan and the rest of my entourage from NY and South Jersey. Here's some pictures!
Here's a great one of my Mini and Pan --
Here's Mini, my favorite RushFan(NJ), and me --
And here's the whole crew -- (May it be a larger bunch next time!!!)
And here's me and Pan, the day after, sporting a fine, new wardrobe --
