In just 45 minutes...

Alex will be on the radio here! Good thing I've got work to keep me busy during the wait.

The weird part is that he's appearing on the "alternative" station that never ever plays Rush music...

So he is in Utah, or syndicated from somewhere else?

I bet he's appearing on about 50 stations today over the phone. :)

Well, that was really cool.

My favorite news from him today... Gibson Guitars will soon be releasing a limited run of three hundred Alex Lifeson signature ES-335 guitars. He says he recently got to play the prototype and loved it.

I wonder if I should do it....

That isn't really a philosophically sound justification... ;)

I'll see how much they cost when they come out. If they're up in the $4500 range, forget it.

well it was not meant to be a philosophically sound justification. It was more of a "get a wild hair up your rearend and just do it" kind of thing..

You want a philosophically sound justification? Here goes..

You only go around this crazy life once.. You work hard for your money, and if you see something you want, you should do it.. :-)

But... isn't that why there are some many home forclosures going on now? People buying things they never shold have? ;) ;) ;)

I'm just teasing of course. I hear you. And I will think hard about it. His ES-355 in that color has been my dream guitar since 1979.

If its too much you can always just get an SH, it will be just as good or better :P and they could probably do any colour you want. We know you've been drooling over one since its release. We know all your secrets.

Yes, I have. The SH looks like the ultimate guitar for me.

But I haven't been drooling over it since 1979! :-D
