Newton Faulkner (my namesake!)

Post by Ogg »

Please give this a chance as I'm convinced the majority of you will dig this...man :-)

An english singer/songwriter/original acoustic guitarist that shares the same surname as myself. I managed to convince workmates that he's a cousin when he's playing on the radio :).
The lead single 'Dream Catch Me' is here
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YN4lAndjB1E and is shithot, just wait for the chorus ok?

Get past the cool intro here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_aPPwOLh ... ed&search= for a cover he's geting well known over here for, an amazing rendition of Massive Attack's 'Teardrop' . Be educated!

I finally got to watching Newton Faulkner and I'm truly impressed.
This guy has an amazing voice and he's not too shabby
on that guitar either. Amazing talent lying undiscovered
by the masses in the vastness of the music world.
With a name like Newton Faulkner he may want to
modify his name to say: Tonny Faulkner, for
commercial potential's sake.

Love the reference to Rusted Root
and his attempt at those wacky lyrics.

Great Find!!!
Sound verbalized tones touch textured feel scent wafted aroma see visualize observe sing dance live

Dude! He should like, comb his hair or something!

Just kidding, of course. Good emotional performance. Well executed. :) Liked it.
Aren't you the guy who hit me in the eye?
