We went to Baltimore this weekend to see the Sunday BoSox v Orioles game. We missed Manny's 500th on Saturday but we did get to see #501 in the 9 to 4 victory!
The amazing thing was that the Red Sox fans outnumbered the Orioles fans by what looked like 9 to 1! Even the djs on a sports talk radio show were saying Baltimore should be embarrassed by that number. And it was amazing walking around the Inner Harbor and Camden Yards while they were turned in to Fenway South. The bartender at the restaurant we dined at on Saturday said he personally loves it when the Sox are in town - we fans bring a lot of money to the city and we are good tippers!
Some cool sightings at the game on Sunday -- a SIGNED Fisk jersey, a SIGNED Yaz jersey, and, on the body of someone who was apparently confused, a Hartford Whalers jersey.

I don't have faith in faith, I don't believe in belief, You can call me faithless, I still cling to hope, And I believe in love, And that's faith enough for me... Neil Peart
Oh yes you can smell it! And what a fantastic smell it is! I didn't get anything from there but Mike and his friend Mitch did. I loved that "street" with all of the food and bars and what not. What a neat party atmosphere!CygnusX1 wrote:Did you guys hit Boog's Barbeque?PV wrote:We went to Baltimore this weekend to see the Sunday BoSox v Orioles game.
You can smell it all over Camden Yards!
Good times.

been known to fall on the unaware walking down Eutaw Street. LOL
Baltimore does have some kick-ass bars...like Hammerjacks!
If you ever heard of the 80's hair band Kix, they were a HUGE local
talent, along with Crack the Sky and Fugazi.
Now it's Clutch. Clutch is very cool. Their lyrics are very
Peart-esque...Think Rush was a influence? You betcha.
Sorry....back on topic...
Josh Beckett is THE MAN!
Don't start none...won't be none.
