No hatin' here, it's all about the discussion...I think I may have opened
a can of worms...

IMHO that's a little self-centered of them, but they're rich and I'm not.

I can assume (by the negativity to the proposition) that they have no relatives or family serving, therefore no reason to give back.

on the other hand, she had warts.
Wasn't Geddy's parents liberated from a concentration camp by American troops?
Yes, but that doesn't make him obligated in any way to do this.

I doubt the Canadian military could save them from terrorists in their own yards, and they would still prolly not do that kind of a show. Support or not.

My 2 chunks o copper bro.

I know it does not make him obligated, but he should at least see the value of the troops in defending the people who cannot defend themselves.. JMO..

what he said!

To me, some things cross the borders and lines of idealism and
beliefs...music is one of them.

I don't understand why they would be so biased.

I love Rush's music but sometimes I think they are out of touch with the reality of the world.. age old Rush argument (one which we were not allowed to debate on Rush.net) was Manhattan Project.

while any loss of life is bad, the atom bomb probably saved a lot of American and Japanese lives.. but to Rush or maybe NEP, they can't get past the fact that the atom bomb killed innocent people, which it did..

but again this is one man's opinion. I don't think any less or more of Rush for their views.. I just love their music and like I said about Ghost Rider, I prefer to keep my heros at a distance..

Come to think of it, we ALL do things we don't WANT to do, or things
that are against our beliefs, so why don't they just bite the bullet and
DO IT!

:???: ***come on guys, think about others for a change*** :???:

it might be JUST enough to get 'em in the RRHOF...who knows?

Can't HURT. That's a given....
