When Should You Die?

Post by awip2062 »

This is a nice little site from some media outlet in Austrailia. It is meant for kids and has this sweet little quiz that tells them when they should die based on how many of the earth's resources they are using.

Oh, man. It says I should die at age 5.1! :-D

It's devilishly cute, that site.

Devilishly cute, aye that it is.

I should have died a bit later than you, at 8.6 years.

What is this telling the kids, though? You deserve to die. You've used up your allotment.

And what is it, exactly, that they are basing this on? Who says this is as much as one should use and no more?

I didn't eve make it to Kindie-garten! 3.8 years old, and I'm outta here!

Interesting to see that I was graded on how energy was used by the makers of the products I buy. So, I guess if they do it wrong, it's my fault! Sound like socialism to me! I guess that's why I shy away from liberalism.

"Based on the emissions from your greenhouse usage, your lifestyle is supportable for the term of your natural life."

Can't be. Do you drive a compost powered go-kart? :-D

I noticed that as soon as I said I don't recycle (want to and will, just have to find an organized, efficient way to do it) my "pig" expanded larger than the other two by double. Most everything else was average, though :?

My guess would be that it's because I'm not a meat-eater and I live in a small house.

My town is one of the leaders in the state in terms of recycling.

I recycle every week. I have a nice pile going that WILL be compost for earth. I reuse as much as I can.
