Cruelty is their thing and they do it well. I hate PETA. They advocate feeding pet carnivores a vegetarian diet...I think that is cruel, they are destined to a life of malnutrition and stunted health. Their own study proved that it was detrimental to the health and I had written an article about that study and linked to their page shortly afterwards they took their page down.

Uh oh...

[img]MELBOURNE: Scientists have discovered that going veggie could be bad for your brain-with those on a meat-free diet six times more likely to suffer brain shrinkage.

Vegans and vegetarians are the most likely to be deficient because the best sources of the vitamin are meat, particularly liver, milk and fish. Vitamin B12 deficiency can also cause anaemia and inflammation of the nervous system.[/img]

Good thing I still eat fish. But I didn't for about ten years... wonder how much my brain shrank during that time? *hears murmurs around the board of "So THAT'S what's wrong with him!"*
I never stopped with the milk and cheese though... maybe my brain is still norbal. :)
Aren't you the guy who hit me in the eye?

...but that is not necessarily a consequence of 'going veggie' its more the fact a vast majority of the population does not properly understand nutrition and the bodies actual needs.

This is the one time I may defend vegetarians

...like about the different metabolic types in people and I am a protein type so I need meat and there is no way I would do well on a veggie diet ...some people (carb types) can as long as they do it right and still occasionally get some animal protein from time to time...

If we were not intended to eat animals, then why do they taste like food.
