True, besides there really aren't too bany bands out there that don't sound a little like another band. I guess you would have to be one of the first .....MILLION in a band to truly sound............original.

Hairyness and t .....You ever play those electronic kits?

If you do/did, what'd you think of 'em?

I never tried 'em. They just look thin and weak to me...

Depends on the kind of kit.

The Roland V Drums are prolly the best ones I have "Smashie Bashie'd" on. The response time is a little off but you can roll for days on them. The cymbals are pure garbage IMO. And I guess to sum it up any pad is ok, it's the brain gear that the $$$ needs to be put into. That will make all the difference. I want to get one for home rehearsal stuff, but I don't know if I can get a 3rd drum set past Marn.

I've tried them at Guitar Center, just cuz a kid wanted me to try it and see what it sounded like.

I like 'em for the indoor practice thing, and for in a church setting. Most church sanctuaries are so small that you really have to shield the drums, pad them down, have a gentle drummer, or have electric ones to get the band to mix well or fear blowing the minds of the blue hairs. lol

I think Marn should let Bro get the third set. It has purpose and isn't just another of the same.
