introduction

Post by EJLUVSRUSH »

Hi. I was asked to introduce myself so here I go.

Well, I had written this real nice long thing about myself that I agonized over last night and apparnetly didn't post it correctly, because now I can't find it, so I will try again.

I'm turning 40 this August and have been into RUSH for 25 years. I've seen them live a little more than 80 times and yes, I have ALL the laminated ticket stubs. RUSH are also the only band/artist I have ever seen live. It's hard to put into words but from the first time I was exposed to them I just got so into them I never had a desire to see anyone else live so I haven't. Nobody else could possibly compare to RUSH live anyway so I don't consider it a loss.

I live in the good ol' U.S.of A., or is it now the U.S. of O? Anyway, In Massachusetts with my lovely wife. We got married this year and are already expecting our first child this September. She's going to be daddy's little RUSH fan. lol.

Not sure what else anyone wants to know. I have short light brown hair, a goatee i've had so long I don't remember not having it, brown eyes, normal build. I enjoy reading, writing, music, video games, movies, and working with my mind and hands. I am currently out of work as my position was eliminated after 11 years due to the lousy economy. I won't talk much about that but it makes the prospect of having a baby even MORE scary. Oh, and I have a lead foot.

I'm woriking on a RUSH theme for my PS3 and once done (it's taking forever because I am very critical of myself) if anyone would like it I can send a file.

Anyway, if anyone wants to know anything else just ask.

That's great stuff, EJ! Except about your job, of course. My hours are being cut. I hope that's as far as it goes...

As to your child, it's great when I see my daughters enjoying Rush! :-D You'll love that!
Aren't you the guy who hit me in the eye?

Okay, Schu's happy, well, a bit. To make her all the way happy go down into the Useless Nonsense section and post in her pub! :D (To help you find it in Useless, the pub is called Schu's Pit Stop)

Scoots first concert ever was S&A on the first leg. She loves them. Kids at school ask her who her favorite band is and she says RUSH!

What a great kiddo. :-D
