I dig chess too. I made sure all my kids were able to play. Bear is actually not that bad a player. Just another thing he read books about! lol

I play a variation called Gothic Chess that I really enjoy.

Since I'm in the big city this weekend and saw a mall, I thought I might find a game store and pick up Settlers of Catan.

Four game stores and not one had board games!
