The Return of Admiral Sawyer!

Post by EndlesslyRocking »

Hello all!

I didn't want to step on anyone else's newbie thread. I'm stopping by to say hello...again.

A couple of years ago I posted for awhile under the name Admiral Sawyer. Like a Phoenix, I am reborn! I see some familiar names here (Schuette, doctorbraino).

Real life took over for awhile. We had another child, I finished my doctorate, we bought a house, etc. etc. Now, I'm ready to get back to what's important: talking about RUSH non-stop on the internet.

Well, HELLO there EndlesslyRocking! Given your "re"intro here I'd say your new moniker fits you perfectly! Well done! :D

Oh, and welcome back! You wouldn't know me as I joined a little under a year ago. I'll bow back and let the true veterans welcome you. :)

Thank you both for stopping by and saying hello.

I am looking forward to talking with everyone here again. It'll help me keep my fix going until the summer tour.

Whadya get pilled higher and deeper in? Officially I'm a PhD candidate in sociology, although I've decided to take some time out and teach high school for a while...maybe dive back into the doc thing in a five or six years.

Big time! I love that album (yep, I'm old enough to still say album). Many of favorites are on PW: The Big Money, Manhattan Project, Territories, Middletown Dreams. Great stuff, IMHO.

Hi Schuette! Hope all is well with you. Don't be a stranger.

Oh, and my doctorate is in Psychology.

thats awesome, quite possibly my favourite rush album but hold your fire is pretty close, my faves on this are grand designs and middletown dreams, the bass on big money is phenominal and fun to play though

I can't believe I forgot to mention Grand Designs. I LOVE that song.

We break the surface tension with our wild, kinetic dreams.

Great stuff.

I like HYF too, not as much. There's a couple of duds on there (IMHO). I think Second Nature is pretty good, and Prime Mover is one of my all-time RUSH favorites...
