True Blood

Post by rushlight »

Ok. This is for Cygnus. Schu wants the Twilight topic to stay on topic so hopefully this will do nicely.

I haven't seen the entire series of True Blood. I only caught the ending when they find out who the villain of the series is.

I am a follower of the Sookie Stackhouse books since Dead Until Dark. The stories have more mystery, action, romance and more than just vampires. Yes there are other vampires books that can do the same thing but the sookie books are my favorites and am currently waiting for the newest book Dead and Gone. You think this season was good Cyg? I can name several more storylines to look forward to but I'll leave the pleasure to you once they get to the next season.

Good books: Living Dead in Dallas, Club Dead, *Dead to the World* (favorite) and there are two more but their names escape me.

Favorite vampire: Eric. :love4: Won't say why.

So anyway who do you think it is when they opened the car door? And did you suspect Sam of being more than human? :-D
I love my Welshman.

***Hugs Schu for doing her job and barely putting up with my
nonsense***

(((((Schu)))))

Thanks for the TB thread RL! (((((RL)))))

All I can say is that we're hooked after Season 1 and can't wait for the
story to pick back up.

It's worse than The Sopranos as far as leaving you wanting more!

I just hope the show doesn't end like The Sopranos did though.

That would suck. Unless a Sopranos movie is released. LOL

On the other hand, a True Blood movie? I can dig that!

It would certainly give other-vampire-movies-that-shall-not-be-named
a run for their money.

As for the questions...

I thought that gay guy (Lafayette) was in the car?

And we knew there was something up with Sam before they even showed
him transform on Sookie's bed when he was sent to protect her.

We're still wondering who the woman was who knew Sam!

Is she good or bad? I'll take that spoiler.

Speaking of spoilers, they're already posting Season 2 spoilers!

Not cool!

Did you know that True Blood won a Golden Globe? Very cool!

Anyway, here's a link to watch Season 1 episodes for free:

I saw pix of Sookie nekked somewhere. I think it was from a scene from True Blood.

So that's 3 women from the X-Men that have done that now. *wink*

Yes that was Lafayette in the car. Sam is a pretty cool shifter and I would say more but that will be a spoiler! :-D Keep an eye on him in this next season. He keeps getting better and better.

Ah, the woman with the pig. She is known as a maenad. There are some things she does that can be both good (on her own terms) and bad.

Ohhh the Fellowship of the Sun...I'd sick the maenad at them.

I heard late May, but that's close enough! hahaha

Believe me, I'll be there with fangs akimbo and fresh shooters of "V"

It's okay if you can't watch it then.

You can always "hulu" it...or watch it on HBO.com

(heeheeheehee "Twilight" ***scoffs***)

TB absolutely pisses on "Twilight." :P

Hahahaha! It must be the residual affects of 4:20!
But let's not jump Schu too quickly. I was replying earlier to a Bill O'Reilly rant in the "Quotes" section, when it suddenly disappeared and re-appeared in the News section. We're all a little scatter-brained from time-to-time. :-)
