You may.

I've known her for a long time. We played in bands together back in the 90's. The pic below was taken in the very early 90's... I'm on the guitar and she's doing vocal in the middle. I had no contact with her from about 1996 through late 2003. We dated some in 2004, then were just friends until about 11 months ago when we started dating again.

She has never been married, no kids or anything like that. My daughters are fond of her. They know they're not getting a wicked step-mother. :)
