Proof that simple songs can be awesome too.
I heard this one for the first time yesterday and it is pleasing to my ears.
This is "The Hardest Button to Button"

I learned of this from a news article link with the words, "Now that she has more time on her hands, Meg White can learn to play the drums". The ensuing comments included agreements with the headline and a few who stuck up for her.
Being a fine drummer doesn't mean one must play like Neil Peart.
That's not what being a musician is about.

Meg played what fit - the people slamming her should try to pick up the drums and play like her.Raiden wrote:I learned of this from a news article link with the words, "Now that she has more time on her hands, Meg White can learn to play the drums". Asshats.
The interesting thing is that many of the Meg-slammers I've heard claim to be Rush fans. Now, I mean no disrespect to any of you (unless you're like that) but, to a degree, it isn't a shock. Think about it: Rush are among the greatest players of their respective instruments. Because of this, some get the idea that you must play in that caliber in order to be considered "good" or "knows how to play", thus turning them into the kind of music-lovers you want to beat into deafness. And the musicians like this are even worse.
Okay, rant basically over
Yes, I know there's a rant thread.
