AIM - I forgot how to work the bloody thing!

I only ever used it once, and now MSN messenger is all fucked to hell on my comp, so, eh, could somebody help me here? How do I add people to the list?

Go to Setup, then click Add Buddy, then type in yoru buddys name. For AIM aka AOHell.

Too simple, lol. I've tried using Yahoo, but I can't get it to install. I've run the damn anti-virus a dozen times and I can't find anything wrong, but I just can't get it to work.

BTW: do I just put my AIM user name in the Profile bit to get it to work?

Yeah, this thing desperately needs formatting, but I don't have my disks that I need to do it. If I still had them I'd have my boyfriend talk me through it (he computer whiz).

just reformat it and lose the old garbage you think you need, or partition it thrw the junk on the aprtition and wipe the rest
