Have to be on virus patrol for a bit. Connection keeps cutting out on me while I'm trying to download an a/v prog and I've had to start the file dowloading over again for the second time. I'm gettin pissed and just need to get this taken care of. See ya's when I get this sorted.

there are actually viruses that will prevent that installing or destroy your antivirus, clever ones
you may have to reformat

I know, that's what I'm afraid of. Anyway, left a message for me b/f, he'll be able to tell me if I'm being prevented from installing it, or if I just forgot something along the way. *beats head on desk*

I'm going to be doing good if I can get through the feckin prefaces and footnotes on the Art of War. Don't even want to think about RBM. LOL. Anyway, got avast to reinstall (finally), updated the virus database, tried to update the prog, but it came back saying the package was brokeded, rebooted into safe mode, ran a/v scan on both hard drives (thorough scan, archive files included) and it came up with nothing. Can't be right.

I did too, well, technically I still do, but the disk won't read anymore. Not sure if it somehow got wiped or infected or just what happened.
