I imagine he's hard to miss.
One down, 3 to go. Now if only he could make a free throw once in a while...
BTW: I can't get the link above to load. I'm sure it show proper respect for the Big Aristotle.
GO LAKERS!

It works for me, it's a link to downloading an avi to your hard drive. It's a commercial with Shaq in it that has kids running around him singing...
"Big Shaq rules the paint, Big Shaq rules the paint,
hi ho the dairy-o, Big Shaq rules the paint.
But the Spurs won the west, the Spurs won the west,
hi ho the dairy-o, the Spurs won the west.
You better come back in shape, you better come back in shape... (Shaq growls at the kids, the kids squeak and begin singing in double time)
Big Shaq rules the paint, Big Shaq rules the paint,
hi ho the dairy-o, Big Shaq rules the paint."

I remember watching in amazement as Geddy sang, played bass, and played the keyboards with his feet. I thought, "Who is this guy???"

It was an English class really.
Yeah, I never really spoke to him in the class all that much, but we saw him out at a bar just off campus one night, and one of my friends was a huge B-ball fan, and wanted to meet him, so I introduced him. When we walked over, I stuck out my hand and said something to the effect of, "Hey Shaq, John from English class, how's it going?". He shook my hand, and his fingers came almost half way up my forearm.EndlesslyRocking wrote:I imagine he's hard to miss.
Don't tell me about rock and roll I'm out there in the clubs and on the streets and I'm living it! I am rock and roll!

Having grown up in L.A., I'm a perenial Laker fan...so I'm with ya Rocking!
Although, to be honest, not having cable and being so freeeeeeeking busy with school has kind of left me in the dark on the season.... Ok, that and having lived in Utah for several years while getting my BA drove me anti-Karl Malone. Still, I like Phil, Shaq, Payton, and the jail bird (his game at least...I'm certianly never going to point to KB as a role model for my kids).
By-Tor...ha! funny story. Betchya my son could use his shoe for a kayak...a smelly one at that.

Ugggg...easily. Jazz fans spoke of him in nearly as hushed terms as they spoke of God, mama, and apple pie. I liked Jim Rome's characterization of Karl Malone: "The first African American redneck." Yeah, I read about Sunday...he showed up with his A game.EndlesslyRocking wrote:How can anyone be "Anti-Malone"?
Knock out punch coming...and Shaq will deliver it, no doubt. (BTW, I really like Rick Fox, both as a player and as a person...same for Derek Fisher.)

His best role, "Sleeping with Vanessa Williams" isn't bad either...by-tor wrote:And he's pretty good as an actor. I liked his role in OZ.KaelMwithascrubbrush wrote:BTW, I really like Rick Fox, both as a player and as a person.
Oops!
Was that out loud?
Sorry.
We should put away Houston tomorrow.
San Antonio, however, will be another matter entirely.
Thank God the Kings choked so badly at the end of the season, giving us HCA for the Spurs series. That's our only hope...
