No it weren't, were it?

;)

Still, it counts. Where'd our resident Pacer fan disappear to?

Looks like it could very well be a Lakers/Pistons series.

Quick, get that guy a big glass of milk and some yummy cookies! Sounds like the Pacers/Pistons game wasn't too pretty none. It may be a rather ugly finals...don't have cable, and only get the CBS affiliate and PBS...so I won't be watching. Hmmmmm...Lakers/Pistons...feel like the eighties?

I've been there many times.

If it helps any, I'm pretty sure the Lakers are going to pound the crap out the Pistons...

hard to disagree with that, although using my head rather than my heart Detroit matches up better with LA than Indiana does. God, what a ugly series. Thank Ged it is over...

I think Malone will have his hands full with Rasheed Wallace, and the Lakers are going to have to figure out how to deal with Richard Jefferson, whose playing like a madman right now. There's definitely no love loss between the Lakers and Wallace, so that will be really interesting to watch...or in my case, read about.

WTF?

I'm still confident the Lakers will win the series, but MAN! Last night was one of the worst games I've ever seen. Malone and Payton came to LA for that??

Yuck.

Whoever comes out of the West will destroy the East Champion in 6 games or less.

Remember 2002? The Lakers go to overtime in Game 7 to beat the Kings, then mowed through NJ 4-0 like they weren't there.

History will repeat. I guarantee it!

Last night's game was a clinic on Defense. I havent seen a team play D that well in some time. I said it at the beginning of the series to everyone who cared to listen - Detriot in 7.
