Yes, front row and back stage

Post by New World Man »

Hey gang,

I can't believe I was so lucky. I had Yes tickets for the Greensboro, NC show on the 27th of April (would be my first time to see them live), and a co-worker won front row tickets and back stage passes. He let me sit with him on the front row right in front of Steve Howe, and then gave me one of his back stage passes! What an experience for my first Yes concert! I was able meet and get autographs from Jon Anderson, Rick Wakeman, Alan White, and Chris Squire. Steve Howe never made it to the meet and greet, I think he was not feeling well (hate that, he did an awesome job that night). Yes had a great concert that night and it is amazing how talented they are. It is also amazing how a group that has been around 35 years can still rock it out. Now if I could only get to see Rush in that way! I can't imagine meeting them and front row, it would really be wonderful. :D

Glad you had a good time, that's a good experience! :D
I remember watching in amazement as Geddy sang, played bass, and played the keyboards with his feet. I thought, "Who is this guy???"

Hmm, that means you're already out, since Canadiens eat tree bark and drink maple syrup
