Post by AK »

Hey, Rushians wanting to meet Rush:

Go to Rush.com and find the May 11th entry in the news and learn about getting meet and greet passes to meet RUSH! There's a winner for every venue for a pair ot passes.

All you have to do is come up with a suggestion for Rush merchandise or other contests.

Good luck to all who enter!

They said on their site that you didn't have to enter an idea and that the winners would be chosen randomly. Submitting an idea will not effect your chances of winning, or so they say! I know, the e-mail read differently than that, but that's what their page says.
I remember watching in amazement as Geddy sang, played bass, and played the keyboards with his feet. I thought, "Who is this guy???"

I signed up too.

That would be pretty cool to meet RUSH, but then again...

I can't pretend a stranger is a long-awaited friend...

I wonder what it's like to meet the man who wrote this?

I'll bet Alex is pretty fun, though...

I'm not sure but don't only Geddy and Alex do the meet 'n greets now?

Well, I think I could be wrong because there was a "function" in Toronto during VT where a friend of mine got a VIP pass. It was a formal affair and she met Geddy and Alex and got pix with them and chatted. Neil was there but didn't look too "approachable" (but was smiling and talking to someone else). She was just thrilled to be "near" him. :)

Yep, I don't believe Neil does the meet and greets. Its usually just Al and Ged. BUT I hope you win anyway ER! Heck I wish all of us could win!!

I didn't get that impression, Schu. The only place it refers to a location at all is which show you want passes to. but I didn't read all the fine print so you might want to double check.

The Website says: There will be winners for each city played on the tour.

So go for it, everyone.

That would be great if the board had a winner or two.

Good luck all!

Yeah, if I win, Geddy and I can chat about how much we both hate the Angels.
