I say thank you as well, Hairy, and that it doesn't matter if you were in during peacetime, the fact is that you served your country.

A lot of my family have served.
As I said, I was in the Army, Infantry M-60 machine gunner. (like Rambo)
My dad was in the Air Force, Viet Nam, so I was a military brat.
My cousin Nikki was a medic in the Army.
My cousin John was in the Navy.
My cousin Wayne was in the Marines.
My brother tried to get in the Army when Gulf 1 started, but he couldn't make weight.
My uncle Jim was in the Navy.
My cousin Joel was in the Navy.
My Grand father (on mom's side) was Royal Air Force, I do believe.
