Boston

One of my best friends ever will be visiting me here in CT this summer from Japan. He is a huge Boston fan and one of the reasons he wants to come this year is to see a Boston show. The closest one to me is up in Glens Falls, NY, about 2-3 hours away. It was up to me to get tickets for the show.

I went online a full day after tickets went on sale and was expecting pretty poor seats. I was shocked, I mean totally blown away, to come up with section 102 (the center floor section) row 12!

On July 13th I will be sitting as close as I ever have for a concert. Now I'm not a rabid Boston fan, but it still should be pretty cool. They have a ton of great songs.

I am telling the boys that you are going to see boston and have such great seats! They will be jealous and throw you out of every Rush gig to come!

Westlife is a shitty Irish boyband who my daughter loved at one point but it was her dad who took her to see them.......thankfully!! I should add that they're not her favourite band anymore that accolade goes to The Darkness now.

I hope he does better than he did with the Cult. I heard them do a live version of Born to Be Wild and Will Young would have done better - i.e. in tune.

Really! He was so out of tune during this gig (I don't know if that's normal for him) that I've heard better noises from two cats fighting in an alley.

I saw Boston last summer here in NJ. They were FANTASTIC! I've been a fan of them since I was a kid but hadn't seen them in concert since Third Stage back in 1987. I was impressed that Brad Delp could still hit those notes, esp the one in More Than A Feelin'. The guitars were schweet and the whole show was GREAT! I know the guys all enjoyed the bass player (hot blond chick who kicked butt!) so even if you don't get in to the music, you'll have a good view to check out.
