The real talent there was Brian Setzer.
This guy is a phenomenal guitarist. I saw him solo once in Edinburgh several years ago, and he was fantastic

I always found it funny when I read, in an interview, that the bassist kept having to buy new double-basses because they'd fall apart after a couple of months of him jumping on them.

Yes, I remember him saying that he liked the Double Bass because

Gotta agree with you about Brian. The man is such a true musician. Can do all forms of music well. Great band leader too.
