Future Rush albums

Post by Slaine mac Roth »

Don't get too excited, as I've got no proof of this, but I've heard a rumour that someone at SRO has said that Rush are signed to do another 4 studio albums.

As I say, I've got no proof but its a nice thought.

In the liner notes for RUSH in Rio, Neil Peart said (something to the effect of) "We weren't planning another live release for several years."

That certainly sounds consistent with the concept of continued studio recording and touring....

Does this mean we'll get a 40th Anniversary tour? Or a 50th.(somehow I doubt that one as they'll be 70)

That would be a great way to close it all out. Another 4 studio albums and a live, final cut - "Rush at 68" 8)
I remember watching in amazement as Geddy sang, played bass, and played the keyboards with his feet. I thought, "Who is this guy???"

Naw...wouldn't be any good because it isn't the genes, it is the personality and experiences that make them who they are.

So that's why Oasis and all the boy bands are so crap - they haven't got any personality.
