I'm self taught also. On bass guitar and keyboards.

Can't play the guitar or drums to save myself though.

I can't tell you my personal insights I haven't heard it yet matter of fact I just heard my favorite headach just a few days ago, thought the wisdom of Geddys writing was point on in that, from what I consumed at the time.
Probably listened to some of the songs on it, what are they? You know what they say rust never sleeps?
When evil is allowed to compete with good, evil has an emotional populist appeal that wins out unless good men & women stand as a vanguard against abuse.
